Saturday Scribbles Vol 11 - A Special Sunday Edition
Welcome to a special Sunday edition of Saturday Scribbles.
Today is Easter Sunday. For some that means egg hunts and chocolate rabbits. For me, though it means so much more. For me it is the celebration of Christ's resurrection.
But even that holds a special meaning to me. Because, you see, my salvation story holds Easter dear. It was on Easter Sunday that I came to truly understand exactly what it was that Jesus did for me. I fully understood that I was a sinner and that Jesus was the only answer for my sins. Yes, even at the age of 6, I recognized my need for a Savior.
So Easter is indeed Resurrection Sunday. But it is also my spiritual birthday.
Enjoy the one of my favorite Casting Crowns songs, Glorious Day. This is just the basic one, so no fun pictures with the video.

Happy Resurrection Day
Happy Resurrection Day! Easter has a very special meaning for me. I celebrate my spiritual birthday on Easter. Yes, that's right. I accepted Jesus into my heart on Easter Sunday when I was 6 years old. Wow. That means I'm 28 today.
The Casting Crowns song, Glorious Day has fast become one of my favorites. Take a look at the video, and remember today why Jesus died. Because remember, Jesus didn't stay dead. He arose. And now the grave is empty!!!!
