My 30th birthday, my hubby made me get all dressed up and told me he was taking me out for a nice dinner. He had rented a LITTLE RED CABOOSE at our local McDonald's and all my friends and family were hanging out the windows waving and yelling when we drove up! :) avonmathews(at)yahoo(dot)com

Two memorable birthdays. The first when I met my husband and found out we shared the same birthday of Oct. 10 - he's older than I am....but I'm aging gracefully.
ReplyDeleteThe second memorable birthday was bringing our newly adopted baby girl home on my birthday. Been married twice.
Blessings,

My best birthday actually happened last weekend. It was such fun because my family spread it out over several days and we entertained several different families. Loved it!

My most memorable birthday was my 13th. My family and I was living in Denham Springs, LA and Hurricane Andrew came thru on my birthday. We were expecting flooding and lots of tornadoes. We had all our things picked up off the floor and mattresses in the hallway. My mom told me that no hurricane could stop her from making her new teenager a birthday cake.

It most certainly wasn't my best birthday but it most certainly is one I will never forget. I was diagnosed with breast cancer on my 50th birthday and I told people when they asked, what did you get for your big 50? My answer of course was I got breast cancer! God was there for me and brought me through it. As of today there has been no reoccurrence and for this I am thankful.
