I love to read historical books, especially those set in the American west. I have always loved a good Oregon Trail book, not quite sure why... some of those people go through and lose a lot over the journey!
ReplyDeleteI just signed up to follow via e-mail.

Its hard for me to choose just one time period since I love history so much. I guess my favorite would be Ireland around 1500 years ago. Though I do like the Old West and Oregon Trail as well.

ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed many books set in the Middle Ages. I really like Regency books. I am also partial to books set before, during and after the Civil War. I added you to my GFC.
ReplyDeleteNo specific period of history is a favorite. I'm sort of a history junkie. :) I kind of like to dabble in all periods - ancient, medieval, European, English/Irish/Scottish, American pioneer, American in various wars, etc.

Hi, This looks like a good story to read, thanks for sharing. I love to read about the era in the mid 1800's..seems like folks worked harder and had a faith that sustained them, no one looked for handouts they did their day of work and enjoyed friends and family when there was time. we need more of this today.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win and read this story.
