  1. I love to read historical books, especially those set in the American west. I have always loved a good Oregon Trail book, not quite sure why... some of those people go through and lose a lot over the journey!

I just signed up to follow via e-mail.

  8. Its hard for me to choose just one time period since I love history so much. I guess my favorite would be Ireland around 1500 years ago. Though I do like the Old West and Oregon Trail as well.

  11. No specific period of history is a favorite. I'm sort of a history junkie. :) I kind of like to dabble in all periods - ancient, medieval, European, English/Irish/Scottish, American pioneer, American in various wars, etc.

  17. Hi, This looks like a good story to read, thanks for sharing. I love to read about the era in the mid 1800's..seems like folks worked harder and had a faith that sustained them, no one looked for handouts they did their day of work and enjoyed friends and family when there was time. we need more of this today.
I would love to win and read this story.
I follow your site with google.
