In Houston, I've been watching the trail riders this week. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo begins next week, I think. Watching the trail riders is rather fun though.
I've been to the rodeo once. It was fun, but not really my thing. I've got a friend whose daughter is showing a pig at the rodeo this year. So I hope she does well.
But the rodeo takes over Houston for the next couple of weeks. There is a concert every night, and the grounds at NRG stadium almost have a fair-type atmosphere to it. And the food. From what I've been told, you can get just about anything. And have it fried!
