Happy Saturday dear readers.
I'm thinking that cars should come equipped with tires that turn into rafts. Especially since it has rained here in Houston almost daily for the past couple of weeks. I like the rain. Especially when it's a gentle rain and I'm home either asleep or curled up reading. I don't like driving through the blinding rains where you can't see much in front of you.
But rain, it's certainly useful. Perhaps this summer won't be nearly as hot as previous summers. Maybe the rain will cool us down for a bit. But the mosquitoes can go away.
Rain also makes me think of the song in Les Miserables called "Little Fall of Rain". It's the duet between Marius and Epinone after she's been shot. This clip is from the 2012 movie.
